CSI Appoints Nick Westall as Chief Technology Officer
CSI has appointed Nick Westall as our new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Simon Fisk, Group Chief Executive, CSI, comments, “Nick will be responsible for our strategic direction in terms of products and services, but he also brings a wealth of expertise in acquisitions and driving organic growth. It’s an exciting period for CSI as we rapidly expand our client base in the highly regulated industries that we specialise in. Nick has a deep understanding of the marketplace and what is required for us to grow aggressively.”

Nick Westall, CTO, CSI, says, “I’m delighted to be joining CSI to help them with their ambitious growth targets. Our regulated industry customers face a massive challenge finding the resource and capability to modernise their applications in legacy IBM environments. Modernising faster than your competition holds a valuable first-mover advantage. CSI is uniquely placed with its deep expertise in IBM Power & Public Cloud technologies to accelerate our clients’ journey to hybrid and multi-cloud.
These customers don’t know how, or lack sufficient subject matter expertise, to make the move before the competition, and suffer for it. We have the experts and managed resources to not only move those workloads but to improve their agility, and competitive advantage, with enhanced application performance. All this modernisation, with market-leading security, that exceeds their regulatory commitments, and without the drain of a large CAPEX.
My first task is to bring an overarching vision and strategy to extend CSI’s current offerings and build a comprehensive roadmap for each product and service area. My experience of participating in several acquisitions at MTI, and eight while I was at CACI, will undoubtedly be useful to CSI, but my initial focus will be on helping accelerate organic growth.”
Nick was previously COO & CTO at Technimove and CTO at CACI.
